Justino

For well over a decade of extensive training and performance in New York City as a classical musician, Justino was slowly—and autodidactically—amassing additional skills and equipment to streamline the many demands of audition preparation. Prescreening materials needed recording and mastering; industry-standard headshots required updating; and more and more competitions and job applications began requesting reels and digital submissions.

The need to “cut costs” is in every New Yorker’s DNA, and it quickly became clear to Justino that the smarter investment was to purchase the hardware and software to handle these needs in-house. Those practical choices soon took root and grew into obsessions. His passion for manipulating sound almost immediately mirrored a newfound curiosity for manipulating light. From gore to beatific, from practical to dreamscape, from professional to recreational—Justino sought out any opportunity or excuse to hone his photography and videography skills.

Before long, those self-taught pursuits began attracting commissions from friends and friends-of-friends—for audition submissions, professional websites, and social media channels.

Today, Justino’s creative toolkit has expanded into a full professional arsenal: top-tier cameras, lenses, and lighting for stills, video, and drone work. He most frequently works in St. Louis, New York City, and Chicago—but his reach is far from limited to those cities.

He’s had the honor of collaborating with world-class artists, international scientists and publications, online creators, foreign dignitaries, and renowned venues across the country. What began as one artist’s curiosity has evolved into a creative consultancy devoted to helping others communicate their vision with the same clarity, artistry, and precision that first drove his own.
