Why Story
For most of human history the storyteller sat at the center of the camp. Before writing, before law, before money, a group’s rules and warnings and heroes all traveled by story — and the anthropological record is blunt about the result: the societies with the most storytellers were the ones that held together best. More voices never diluted a culture. More voices are what made it survivable, because a culture is only as generous as the number of stories moving through it. Nothing about that has changed, except the equipment. A camera is a campfire with better reach. What a nonprofit or a founder is really asking for, when they ask for content direction and strategy, is a seat at that fire — because we don’t reason our way into beliefs and actions. We get narrated into them.

People retain details over arguments: a name, a smell, the weight of something specific in your hand. I’m typically brought onto projects to convert what a person or an organization believes into details that are precise and small enough to be remembered. That conversion is the entire job, and everything downstream of it is production.
My Work
Creative Systems At Work
What began as a practical need to record performances, create headshots, and build audition materials grew into a much broader obsession with how stories are shaped through image, sound, language, and technology.
Today, that practice spans photography, filmmaking, drone cinematography, editorial storytelling, and advanced agentic engineering; each approached with the same eye for detail, atmosphere, and narrative. Bespoke AI systems can assist research, organize and interrogate complex source material, accelerate repetitive production tasks, hybridize creative and technical workflows, and extend what a small team can accomplish without sacrificing human judgment, authorship, or genuine creativity.
